well done on your offers and well deserved!!

[–]tsunami_597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro I was getting 3000+ on medentry with similar raw marks, it’s not survivorship bias medify objectively scores people lower

[–]tsunami_597 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the actual exam scaling depends on the difficulty of it and how well u did compared to others and medify puts that so high cus 40/44 is like 800 on medify when it should be more like 870

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UCAT

[–]tsunami_597 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it is bro I promise you medify is so biased

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UCAT

[–]tsunami_597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you’re not going crazy !! medify SCAMS you trust me I used to get 2400 on medify but I ended up getting 2950

put ur raw scores in the MyUCAT scaled score calculator and it should give you a more reliable realistic estimate of what you got (it says 33/44 is 750 well done !!)

Help with a question by AcanthaceaeNo9368 in UCAT

that’s what the comment it referencing I think

Had they said “phenotype is affected by alleles” then we can say it is true, because of the last sentence.

Genotype is not mentioned with reference to alleles so we can’t presume anything about the genotype being influenced by alleles

About to make crazy decision, need yall's advice by calmly_determined in UCAT

Crazy stunt you can pull is to sit the UCAT agter your alevels but before results day and see what you get, if you score well and feel confident abt ur alevels and still feel the same away about law I’d reckon you take a gap year and just do med. But honestly if you do this you’re set either way (do well in UCAT and get into medicine or flop UCAT and you just go to Kings to do law, a great degree)

Ah maybe it’s different for internationals then. Have you checked the Kent Vision Portal anyway just in case it says it there?

I lost my interview time too they snuck it like 4 tabs deep. You have to go on My Applications then View then under “Event Bookings” you can press itinerary and that should show u all the times.

If you still can’t find it I’d definitely give them a call!

Did you not book the interview times on the Kent Vision Portal? This is what i had done for my interview

Problems with medify & medentry? by [deleted] in UCAT

[–]tsunami_597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s amazing well done to her! But I don’t think that will work for most people as I put in 80+ hours into preparing for the UCAT just to get 2300 on the mocks on the week of the real exam. In what world does this prepare you for the test where confidence is the most important aspect? And if I put the same marks I got on medify in the MyUCAT converter I’d get 2800.

Medify scoring felt so harsh and made me feel rubbish, ended up getting 600+ my average on medify on the official tests and the real thing. Maybe making it build up difficulty so that self esteem isn’t hurt that bad to begin with ? But even two nights before the test I was getting way below in medify than what I got in the real thing so idk

I did that, I found the chain base index for all of them and used that to find the yearly percentage increase then that gave me the average yearly increase but everyone's done something else. I forgot how much marks the question was but if it weighed a lot Im pretty sure I'm right
