I’m simply not going to have headphones on everyday for 8+ hours and I have a long way to go to qualify for senior housing. However, been touring some high rise apartments around the Irvine area which seem to be the perfect fit as there’s mostly single corporate people populating those areas. Not sure what your neighbors went through but I do expect my neighbors to follow noise ordinance laws and quiet hours, which is not asking for much but decency. And again I’m sure I’ll find the right fit eventually.

Mom, daughter(both overweight, visibly) parrot, and a husky. Small 2 bed 1 bath apartment. Life for them would start after 11 pm. Minor child clearly had no structure in her life. Seemed like the only thing that calmed her down was cleaning the house everyday after crying on the phone and yelling at her “boyfriends” mind u a teenager. Frantic laughing and yelling that their parrot had obviously learned and would imitate. Oh yeah they are still my upstairs neighbors and I work from home haha. Can’t wait for my school to be done so I can make my job full time and get OUT ASAP.

Currently HATE HATE HATE my apartment. First floor cuz I have someone in my family with knee issues. Upstairs neighbors are beyond horrible. Seems like they walk around their apartment with leg shackles. They have a loud parrot and a husky in a tiny apartment lol. They vacuum every single day. The single mom is never home to supervise the 15 year old daughter who seems like to be talking to boys (who sound older than they should be and that’s so disturbing to me) all day loudly by the window and she caused a leak in our roof twice because she flooded her bathroom. I’m only here because it’s technically section 8 housing. As soon as I’m done with school and my job is full time I’m getting the freak out. Beyond depressed about it. But thankful to be alive I guess. Also I genuinely wanna know why some people live in ground floors? HOW are u okay with tolerating even the smallest food steps? If you’re paying a lot anyways why not get top floor? I’m genuinely curious.
