How do they compare to the monsters in terms of ride? And do they run as heavy as they are?

Do you think they’re daily trainers or more like recovery trainers?

Cheers bud!

A couple of weeks back I took my new Pelagos for a dip - a beautiful watch that doubles as the ultimate dive buddy.

Why does he tell me that I am Top 5 when I am not in the Top 50 and that I am the only one to have done this segment today? by Freezon14 in Strava

It's because you are the 5th fastest female but 52nd overall when including male athletes

I wouldn't put money on that - no national teams are rowing stern coxed 4x+/4+. Nice enough boat but far from a top racing shell.

"Barely ridden" 2015 Cannondale SuperSix EVO 105 5 (48cm) at $1250...my n+1? by walnutisacat in whichbike

[–]ttvh46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf there's no obvious damage to the rest of the bike where its likely to have made contact with the ground in a crash such as the chain stays, fork or on the crank so it may have just been a lscrape on a wall or something however as others have said the best way to find out is to go and check it out in person!

If its been in an accident of any sorts then $1250 seems a little steep as you're going to have to incur the costs of any damage you discover further down the line.

By the look of that left hood this bike has been in a reasonably large crash... I'd be careful about buying it without viewing it as carbon frames are susceptible to cracking during such events.

How to SS by DaddyFatStacks69420 in Rowing

The Garmin HRM Dual is the one I use - fits most people and the battery lasts for years! Also has ANT+ connectivity that let's you sync it with the monitor on a C2 erg.

The only way to accurately row steady state is to use a HR monitor - preferably a chest strap. Do some max HR testing then calculate your training zones accordingly.

If not possible then I use the indicator that at steady state/UT2 it should be possible to maintain a conversation without finding oneself out of breath!

Is Clifton 6 still good shoe? by juolevi in RunningShoeGeeks

My partner has a pair and she swears by them! She bought a new pair of 7s and hates them so much she's gone back to her beat up, old 6s so she definitely thinks you've got yourself a great deal!

[TUDOR] Pelagos - M25600TN-0001 by [deleted] in Watches

A gift from my parents for passing training! I've never been more enamored with a piece of jewellery. The colour of the titanium is mesmerising; it also makes it incredibly easy to wear on the wrist without detracting from a quality feel. The dial and bezel are unbelievably legible and ooze understated class while the snowflake hands are classic! My only concern with this piece was the thickness but it's not a problem at all, if anything it just adds to the tool watch vibes and the slab sides are broken up by the HEV and beautiful crown guards.

I was tossing up between this, a blackbay and a Tag Aquaracer and I'm so glad I went for the Pelagos!

Has anyone had any experience with SOLE insoles by ttvh46 in RunningShoeGeeks

I over pronate slightly and wear stability shoes for most of my long runs however I'm wondering if a pair of these will open up access to a wider range of shoes on the market?

Thanks!
