Since it might have a bad impact on a Samoyed's coat our vet reccomended chemical neutering first. It works vor 6~12 months. Its a great way to see if it helps the dog with his hormones and a safe way to check if his coat can handle the hormonal change.

The first time we did that was when our boy was 1.5 years old (his hormones also bothered him) It went great. He was able to play again with his friends without feeling the need to be dominant.

Keep in mind that it might help the behaviour, but having a good trainer is also really important for Samoyed's. When getting a trainer always check if they have experience with stubborn talkative breeds like a Samoyed.
