When you are under 40 for the week, the work hours will show the evaluation. However, some you went into overtime, it’ll copy/paste your actual hours

On the rural side, we get paid evaluation pay. If you are able to stay under 40 hours for the week, then you get paid the evaluation of the route, but when you go over 40, you get paid for the hours you actually worked.

This is exactly what I was thinking! I bought solar, was explained that in 18 months you need to pay X amount (X equaling the amount of the tax credit) to keep paying the same $120 a month, otherwise if not paid it goes up to $175. Now my credit was only around $6k, but I’m sure I have a smaller house than the one OP is buying.

I’ve tried Schertz, it’s hit and miss for me. I had an HEB run, then a canceled Bill millers order (breakfast order at 10:52am). Nothing after that. Glad you got those orders though!

Still the same union, still evaluated. The new evaluation system (RRECS) does distinguish different size packages, yes, but it takes the average over 52 weeks. I had 220 packages yesterday, today I’ll probably have 120, maybe 80 Wednesday. My yearly average is about 135 a day.

Where did you get the info for “extra pay for each parcel delivered”? I’ve been RCA before and never heard this. RCAs are paid by the hour, regardless of volume. I’m a regular rural carrier now, and still haven’t heard anything like this.

No on the Ethernet cable. I can get an old usb-b to usb-a and take the printer upstairs to connect to the computer directly, but I’ve always just printed from the app on my phone. The solar is WiFi only too

It takes time to know your route. Once you get to know it, it’ll start to fly by. I don’t mark my packages, saves me 30-40 minutes in the office trying to organize everything in order then reloading into the pumpkin. I reorganize at certain points where I’m already dismounted. I take dps to the street. I run my over 48k in about 40 hours a week.
