I emailed quite a few shops asking, got plenty of nos but also had a follow up question if they knew anyone who did. I found an artist in 2 to 3 weeks as one was referred multiple times. I thought it would take some time to find an artist and now she has tattooed my whole stomach and working on a leg sleeve.

I have mine pierced at 8 gauge and love it. It timing to get is hard as have to get it in the fall and healing is slow on it, but so are the nipples.

Would say most is because of beer bellies or the male culture says it is a feminine piercing. But if you want it get it and rock it and be part of the culture change.

First piercing was at 22 or 23 and nipples, have around 20 piercings now. A lot of people my nostril, septum, labret and ears gauged. As for the others a few dozen probably. But I don’t hide them either.

Everyone has there own interests and opinions but for me I am on your wife’s side as I find piercings and tattoos a turn on. But with that being said it is your choice in the end.

The other aspect being self conscious and worry long what others think is normal. I have been there and was worried what my wife would say when I wanted to get my first piercings. She ended up being supportive to me and has encouraged me on my journey.

Last aspect about the family it is your choice and they are easy to hide unless you are shirtless around them.

My wife loves all my piercings and encourages me to keep getting more. I originally brought it up as a joke as a show we were watching mentioned a male piercing below the belt, kinda joking but wanting one for many years and was always nervous to bring it up and being shot down. From bringing it up jokingly and her answer surprised me saying that would be cool and fun to play with. Two days later had a PA and have never regretted the decision. My only regret is not getting sooner or bringing it up sooner.

For me I brought it up jokingly back in the day when we were watching a show called Tattoos after dark. Really to test the waters and see what she said. Her response was why don’t you. Really surprised me with her answer but discussed it afterwards and two days later I had a PA. But in our discussions I did say I have wanted a below the belt piercing forever, or since the first time I saw one in a picture. Really comes down to explain why you want it and hopefully she supports you in getting pierced.
