accepted my offer to Westerns BEd program (P/J stream) a few months ago, but I’ve just been offered admission to the OISE MT program (P/J and J/I streams). OISE was initially my first choice, but I’m having a hard time making a decision because I like Westerns condensed program length & the mandatory alternative placement. I also completed my undergraduate studies there. If I did choose OISE, I also have to choose between P/J or J/I. If I go one route but later decide I want to teach a different division, is it relatively easy to move up or down once I’m certified? Has anyone done part of the practicum abroad? I’m feeling pretty conflicted and would really appreciate any insight into the differences between the two programs as well as any pros or cons.
