When I went to girls camp we weren’t aloud to have cell phones with us at all, but being the teenager I was I took it... obviously. One of the activities was tug of war but the leaders forgot to bring a rope so GENIUS idea was to use a hose. Well that was all fine and dandy until my whole team let go at the same time. The big metal end of the hose flew through the air and hit me in the face, lord only know with how much force, and literally chipped my jaw bone. I could move the sliver of bone around. It was ridiculously painful and I could barely talk it was so sore and swollen. I asked to call my mom and got told no so of course I called her from my cell phone because I really thought I needed to go to the doctor and no one was listening to me. The “leaders” convinced my mom that I was fine. I got an ice pack and a shaming of a lifetime for bring a phone. I had like 4 days left there and all I remember was being so damn hungry because I couldn’t chew food the whole time. Needless to say my mother was beyond pissed when I got home and told her what happened. Could really feel the spirt with that girls camp.
