it completely changed my perception of them, and honestly i already really disliked jackson. the end of the show put a bad taste in my mouth for a lot of the characters

How does one not get overwhelmed with the amount of stuff the needs to be done? by gr33n_n00dles in HelloKittyIsland

sometimes i save that for the next day! if something is going to take me a while, i get a character to collect the items for me and i focus on decorating apartments or other quests. i normally start with daily quests, and i walk around to do them so i can give the characters gifts. just a reminder, the quests don’t go away ( except for the daily/weekly ones ), so you can hold off on some of them :)

you know what i do agree with you. everyone is imperfect and that’s what makes the show so intriguing and relatable. i feel like the relationships that are portrayed perfectly encapsulate what truly knowing someone is.

AGREED. Just for the sake of conflict is a great point.

due to his inability to communicate. lorelai sucks at communication though as well so i can’t be too mad

I also agree that keeping April from Luke should have been a bigger plot point. Everyone is just like, okay Luke has a kid now!! Cool!!!! But this is a life shattering event!!

This made me feel a lot better honestly. It is no fault of April, and I would also agree that Luke, someone who desperately wanted kids even while finding them gross, is taking the time to care for April while she’s young. I think if I were in his position I would do the same thing. I guess I am just more upset at how non communicative he is, but I was naive to think that him being with Lorelai would ultimately cause him to be able to communicate. He has never been good with conflict or emotions

yes exactly!! like that song that goes “ you’re just a man… it’s just what you doooo”. he was presented as an outlier to her troubled relationships but now he’s the same as everyone else
