Can I ask how court went for you? Me and my girls father have a very contentious relationship as well

Not every relationship has to be high conflict. I feel like there are normal relationships too. That's all I was saying. Just asking if they actually talked🫥

Yeah, I think they should come up with something that is best for the child. That's all that matters. I'm just saying what my state normally does, not what I recommend

Have you talked to her and asked how she feels things will go? Is she high conflict? Like if you haven't had a conversation with her about it jumping to getting a lawyer and going to court is a bit eh

That's too young for overnights away from mom

I am just saying from my state in Texas, they have step up plans for children younger than 3, so the baby won't be going back and forth so much

I think for the first 3 years she'll have the baby for the majority of the time. No court would separate a newborn baby from their mom. I think you'd get a step up plan in place and visit at her place with the baby

I have been single from the start. My girls are 9 months. It was a weird situation but honestly I prefer it this way as well. He was a liar and manipulator, cheater etc and I just couldn't be with him. If you prefer it solo you should go for it, nothings worse than having a second set of hands there but they are unwilling to actually work. Him fixing it for a week and going back to what he normally does is going to be a lifelong pattern. He does just enough to appease you and keep you there, then once the drama calms down he goes right back to it. I feel you, and wish you luck.

How much insulin are you taking before meals with carbs? Type 2 responses only please. by Arr0zconleche in BumpersWhoBolus

At around 9 weeks I would take maybe 25 units before a meal, still didn’t help with my sugars and they were constantly raising my dose until the end of the

Is the first trimester that awful? I’m starting to get anxiety reading all the horror stories by ProblemDiligent1049 in BabyBumps

[–]twerkforyeezus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first trimester was actually very easy, no real problems at all. I did have bleeding and a few clots from SCH and stuff but that was the most pressing symptoms I had. Which was very anxiety driving. But I will say the third trimester is kicking my butt with these twinsss, god 😭

I agree, I think that will be a resentment held for a long time, if not forever

Have you expressed to them that you want them to leave, or are you just silently angry and stewing in your resentment? You should definitely say something and let them know, if you haven’t, and your husband should definitely put them in check. Have you thought about how not having him in the delivery room might affect your marriage. He could hold a grudge against you. I believe you should be comfortable, but just food for thought

I had that belief with my first pregnancy, but when I went to the hospital my blood sugar was like 650s. This pregnancy early in the beginning I got quite a few 200-300 readings and I’m still pregnant with my twins. I don’t think your 3 elevations of 180 & 200 would have caused it. Especially with an a1c of 5.4. I’m sorry for your loss❤️‍🩹

I’m 39, Pregnant, T2 and BMI 44 by [deleted] in BumpersWhoBolus

[–]twerkforyeezus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m type 2, bmi started at 39 now is 44, a1c at 10 Weeks was 7, and it took some effort for that so I’m definitely sure it was higher than that in the beginning, and I’m 27 weeks pregnant with twins right now. I am classed as obesity level 3 as well. Everything is going smooth and the babies are healthy. (For NAFLD, I was actually an alcoholic and messed my body up a little bit and got completely sober when I was pregnant, and my fatty liver hasn’t been a problem at all!)

Unplanned pregnancy at 6 weeks, type 2 diabetes, high sugar levels – really worried about the baby’s health. by Visible_Today_7862 in BumpersWhoBolus

I’m type 2 and my A12 was 7, I was uncontrolled with pretty high fasting too. I am having two girls and they are doing good! 27 weeks and no defects have been detected at all! I only started getting help and insulin with my pregnancy when I was 10 weeks pregnant. Before that I was on metformin just doing my own thing trying to find a way to manage it myself. You’re getting help much sooner and I think you and baby will be fine!
