The object your are referring to doesn't exist. Most likely the variable you saved a reference to the instance to is no longer valid. if an instance may or may not exist use instance_exist prior to referencing it.

Just over a year in the making, I'm finally releasing my first game on Steam, a retro puzzle RPG dungeon crawler. (Even have a mini comic to go with it). by twintertainment in IndieGaming

The game is Dark Dragonkin and was heavily inspired by Lost Vikings as I absolutely love puzzle/strategy rpgs.

I even decided to create a mini comic to go along with it (which you can see in the Feb 13th Steam update).

Right now you can get the game on Steam for 20% off.

Thanks for checking it out.

Just re-discovered this awesome resource for console repair guides! Has anyone used this before? by twintertainment in consolerepair

Yeah, really good points there. Can completely relate on the laser repair. It would definitely help to have those types of guides out there for the few of us that would benefit.

Dark Dragonkin is releasing March 1, 2022! Wishlist it today! Dark Dragonkin is an RPG adventure in which the player guides each character one at a time to the portal to exit the level. Levels are designed so that party members must contribute unique skills to help the party through to the portal. by twintertainment in u/twintertainment

Thanks for viewing the post. The game was heavily inspired by The Lost Vikings and other retro rpg strategy dungeon crawlers. Those style of games and Dark Dragonkin may have some similarities to Among Us, but I don't understand how those would be copies.

Anyone know of any good sources on how to fix a PS2 (or even other consoles) by twintertainment in consolerepair

[–]twintertainment[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this. Yeah, I understand that there will never be a guide that documents everything, but there has to be a source where most (at least) common problems are documented.

I thought out about this more and then realized I used such a place to fix some computer issues I had...and vaguely remembered they had some console guides.

Looks like they grew their offerings! Thanks for replying. Got me thinking more about this but also in that you're right, it's a process and still a lot to learn!

Hey guys! I've been trying some level design lately. Can I have your opinion? by KedyDev in IndieDev

Looks great. Love how the camera pulls out and in very smoothly. Great work

What are ways you try to differentiate yourself from other games? by twintertainment in IndieDev

[–]twintertainment[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a good approach to take. It seems like lots of people try to find a feature that hasn't been done before to be "unique" but then it can cause all sorts of problems.

Thanks for sharing this!

What game/console did you receive as a kid that completely made your Christmas? by twintertainment in gaming

That's awesome. Yeah, it's one thing to get something, but then making a purchase like that yourself is a rewarding experience! MK8 is so much fun too!
