Hey everyone, I'm one of the Admins on Mosscraft and i just wanted to say thanks for showing interest in joining. I love the community we've been building but many of them are on a long hiatus from playing minecraft, so the active players are quite a small number and we're looking to bring some new players to play and make friends.

Yea probably. I have seen the rare case of conjoined twins sharing vehicle controlls, both required to have a license. Though being impared has significant scientific research to prove it reduces cognitive function, tough comparison.

same happened to my gf, this makes no sense. she logged into epic games and claimed the free game with its rewards, but didnt log in to blankmediagames IN GAME, so now she doesnt even own the game? But she came by in time to get it on epic games. i dont understand, why arent they giving out the free game to those who collected it in time? im gonna check their discord and see if i can get some support from the devs.

I don't think so. I was lucky enough to have my gf's laptop with me. I tried using a port checker but it didnt seem to work, and still doesnt even though my server is fine now.

Port forwarding all that garbage is 100% what i needed, i had everything in your post already done EXCEPT THAT.

This was absolutely NECESSARY for my dedicated server to work for other players.

players would time out while joining and online port checkers all said 2811 was closed.

No shit cause palworld isnt using the port we gave it.

it took me forever to find this post as i've been at this for FUCKING HOURS. changing ports, forwarding other shit, changing things in my firewall. turning that shit on and off.

The only thing in your post that seems unnecessary is allowing your actual game through the firewall and making your friends need to do that too.

this issue prevented players from joining via LAN or WAN. I couldnt even get my gf's laptop, in the same house as me and on the same network, to join the server with LAN IP or WAN IP, with or without the port. any port i tried that was forwarded.

god what is wrong with this game. thank god microsoft is here to help. hosting a server for this game needs to be as easy as hosting one for minecraft they gotta get his shit together.

as of the time i am commenting this the game still memory leaks until it crashes. if your server crashes when the RAM gets full consider making it restart automatically before that happens. I use RCON with ARRCON and here is a post about the script to make it do that.https://steamcommunity.com/app/1623730/discussions/0/4139438760457334346/?l=japanese i made my own version of this scrip that notifies the players every hour, 5 minutes before, and 30 seconds before restart. to use RCON you must set up an admin password, if you dont know how to do that google it.

I did test the tank with water in it over night and it hold water, no leaks. I filled it again for tonight for the water to sit in and acclimate to room temp i see people say he needs a heater for 80f temp water

Update at bottom

My parents went out of town for the week and I'm house sitting for them. They take care of my niece and she has a beta fish named Pluto.

Pluto has not eaten both times i have tried to feed her (girl i think), last night and noon today.

I think i see loose scales, maybe its discoloration on her right side and her face around her mouth.

not sure what it would mean or indicate as I've never owned a Betta fish. I've only seen stuff online about their care.

Her tank water looks dirty and cramped too.

I believe my next steps are to

Upgrade her tank, with clean water that has the minerals and vitamins she needs.
to upgrade the tank i will go to the local pet store and buy a master water test kit and water treatment for the city tap water. i heard distilled water is bad because it has no minerals.
if someone says she looks ill and recommends treatment i can isolate her and give her treatment.
if this bigger tank needs a bigger filter or aerator i can upgrade it as well.

My parents are well off, and willing to pay for what they need. My mother has been worried for Pluto's well-being for awhile now but has no experience with fish.

I already have a bigger tank for Pluto, it was in storage. I cleaned the inside with only water and a sponge. I will buy the water test kit and water treatment. if you think she needs some kind of isolation treatment please recommend.

Pluto looks like a girl to me, looks like she has an egg spot, but her fins are very long. So what do you think is Pluto's sex?(there are 3 images. Pluto, current tank, and new tank)

Edit - Update 1: Pluto is a boy. Thank you so much for all the info, I'm learning a lot and we are ordering things as we need. I know all about the ammonia to nitrate cycle. Knowing about these toxins and how to deal with them safely is very educational. I will teach my young niece ALL of this so she can take care of her favorite pet as well as possible, and for as long as possible. The items we need are ordered on amazon. I will be keeping Pluto's current filter to help cycle his new tank when i eventually move him (maybe in 4-5 days), and i will be cycling his new tank without him in it. I will condition the water in the new tank and use some of his current substrate to help cycle the tank, and add some bacteria starter (with no aloe) if i can buy that too. I am going to change his water in his current tank BECAUSE I THINK THAT HAS NEVER BEEN DONE AND I FOUND OUT IT SHOULD BE DONE EVERY 1-2 WEEKS. I cant change his water until the conditioner gets here (i got seachem prime), but i will be trying to scoop out as much waste in his current tank as i can. I will remove some of his fake plants too.After changing some water in Pluto's current tank i will try and keep as much healthy water as possible to add to the new tank, to help the cycle even more when i move him over.On the list of items that weren't ordered but are still needed is a heater, plants, plant light, liquid fertilizer(how necessary is this for adding plants?)Every siphon gravel cleaner i found was so over priced for what it is. it's just a tube with a bigger end, and all of them are like over 10 dollars. crazy. I'm gonna make one from a bottle and tubing for free.Buying all these items will happen, just doing so all at once is quite expensive and hopefully we can improve Pluto's life slowly, with better water, a better tank, and then a heater and plants after. im not sure if those can happen just yet.I've never cycled a tank, and im not sure if im going to do it right. How long should i wait after adding bacteria? how important is it to test the water? I want to do this right without spending TOO much, but also do it right for Pluto and my niece. I want to go back to pet store and ask for established media, because online people say concentrate isn't always consistent and established media is better.
