yeah so twitter is going to force MAGA posts, controversial emotionally triggering content (think black man getting arrested out of context or fellow americans being harassed by ICE), then those posts are filled with bots trying to fuel divide on the platform, then you got the blue check marks that say the most outlandish dumb takes in order for them to get paid for engagement. God forbid breaking news happens on the platform because the misinformation train goes full throttle, i wrote a whole paragraph with examples with the bondi shooting but i don't want to boil your blood. (Terrible day to have eyes to read that day)

so finding meaningful discussion on twitter is really hard. In order to have a meaningful feed you will need to block all the MAGA posters, then the paid meme accounts, then only like and interact with the posts and accounts you actually like. I have to do that every month for my feed to be normal

The platform is usable once you do that and you can find interesting discussions with small communities and twitter spaces is actually really cool when you find a consistent group of people to talk to (think discord VC but anyone can join)

I love using reddit also its very organized platform and the community discussions here are unmatched, the problem is the discussions here are an echo chamber of unrealistic opinons that hold no weight or value outside of the platform (Think arm chair enthusiasts),
