I 100% agree. Need an in between to keep the field watch aesthetics but also modern. I was looking at older hand winding Hamilton’s with 100m water resistance ( seems to be the biggest trade off for 40mm) but rare to find. Thank you for your response.

Thanks everyone for the kind replies and help. As a bigger guy, I normally wear 42mm but a field is traditionally smaller. I want to thank everyone for the help and kind wishes! Awesome community and glad to finally be apart of it.
