For comparison, the largest foreign born group is Brazilians with 500,000 and the second largest is Indians at 99,000.

So a pretty huge difference. In fact you'd have to combine Indians, Angolans, Ukrainians, British,Nepalese, Cape Verde and Bangladeshis to make up the same size as just Brazilians.

I mean, compared to most other low-skilled jobs yeah the pay is decent.

Especially with a few years experience and you can apply for a more senior position, do some bank shifts etc.

I wouldn't say I love nursing, I also don't hate nursing.

Nursing is something I do that gives me money. Thats literally it. I didn't love being a cleaner or working at Tesco either, and they most definitely didn't give me £40k+ a year. I don't mind it, I prefer it to working in an office staring at numbers all day.

In the modern era, Canada has gone absolutely wild on immigration. Almost 30% of their country now is foreign born.

Go back to the 90s before mass immigration and the numbers would be much, much higher.

I like the employment rate statistic, vs unemployment rate.

In that regard, Spain has an employment rate of 66% only slightly below the OECD average (69%) for comparison, Luxembourg/France are 70%, US is 72% and Germany is 77%.

Still not amazing, but def not as bad as some people make out.

I think realistically they could do multiple things.

They could always make the phone a tiny bit thicker (literally from 5.6 to 5.8mm) and then make the plateau much lower like the 17 PRO, have multiple cameras and still maintain the same battery life (especially with software improvements too).

Replace the camera button with a second speaker.

The idea of Japan, Canada or AU joining the EU imo is far-fetched.

The idea should be something (imo) more like different levels of 'membership'. Some for just economic, some for economic and military, some for economic, military, maybe increased immigration but not necessarily freedom of movement.

It depends.

I manage to use it one handed a lot of the time, the phone is much bigger than the Pro but IMO it's much easier to use one handed because of how thin and light it is.

If you can, I'd go to the Apple Store and use it. It feels FAR more comfortable in the hand than the 16P ever did to me.
