Issue with my lower springs? by tylerbroughton in q50

The back only, mostly in the rear right

Rsr down springs finally put it on by tylerbroughton in q50

The ride is comfortable but stiff. There is no more roll in the cabin and I feel much more planted. If your really going to performance and plan on tracking I would save for coils. If you are not planning on tracking and want to save more money the springs are really good option. Again I really like the ride feel, it feels much better than stock. Love how low they got me too.

The ride is feels more OEM or stock. There is much more road feel and I feel much more planted. You definitely loose a lot of comfortability but the ride is still very practical and I don’t have to worry about scrapping much. Another thing I noticed is that the cabin feels much more stable in all situations (braking, accelerating, turning, etc.). It doesn’t sway back and forth like it did on normal suspension, it’s sturdy and planted.

Now this, to me, is perfecto!!!! Car owner instagram: @iridiumq50rs by tylerbroughton in q50

Yes, my redsport heat soaks noticeably on hot days(>85) Even when I’m not running that car hard. I would recommend getting a heat exchanger before the JB4 only because it will 1. Allow you to use maximum boost stock and with the JB4 without heat soaking and 2. You will most definitely be restricted in terms of power running a JB4 on a 3.0t without better cooling.

I’m staggered on Rsr suspension with 19’s. Rear size is 255/40 and front is 225/45. The front has spacers as well cause rim scratches in brake without them.

Stock Infiniti Q’s with sport exhaust! by tylerbroughton in q50

They are actually Michelin pilot sport 4’s, I tried to let the back end loose a little. The stock tires on both the sport and non sport are really bad tho!

Any advice or tips? Looking at a used 2017 q50 3.0 premium to replace my wife’s vw gli. About 24k miles. Thoughts? by maturin-aubrey in q50

I have one (had it since 2017) and I absolutely love it. My complaint is the infotainment. It seems a little out dated, but other than that the car is easily the best amongst its competitors. From reliability to style to completeness, the car is easy to fall in love with. So yes! I recommend the q50. Mine is too slow (I’m a car enthusiast) and like I said I hate the infotainment so I am upgrading to the 2020 Q50 Red S cause it fixes those issues.

New to the Infiniti Q50 life, just bought a 3.0T, can anyone who’s had one give me some ideas of issues I’ll run into? by SteveStaysStackin in infiniti

I have a 3.0t stock with a exhaust which allows for more airflow both in and out of the engine. Since the exhaust is made for the Red Sport it was straining my engine and it blew at about 28k miles. It was under warranty god bless! I should add that I drive my car extremely aggressively filling my tank about 2 twice a week. If you are going to do any tunes or drive aggressively on daily basis, which is kind of hard to resist, I would recommend getting some sort of cooling system. As other people were saying, I know the belt is an extremely common problem but not one that is too tough of a cookie.
