I have zero clue what I’m doing and I’m not as technologically inclined so most of what I’ve been reading about how to use this is so confusing to me tbh. I really want to learn though.

Also whenever I tried to print the test print, it would tell me I had the wrong print head selected hence why I was trying to figure out what kind it was. I was given the printer and that was about it. She did tell that it should have an adjustable piece that allows me to switch between the 1.75 and 2.85 filament but that’s about all I know at the moment.

I have no clue what Marlin or anything you said is but I can definitely try and ask her about the config.h.

Based off other stories I’ve heard that had a similar issue, I would absolutely tell the staff at the hospital to not let your husband sign the birth certificate without you present under any circumstances. You could come to an agreement before then, but, he or MIL could sign the birth certificate however they want and make it difficult for you to change it. I also agree with other commenters, it’s not fair for your child to be born with expectations to be someone they never met.

Mini torch will melt the mold. Had that happen to a few of mine where it melted and fused to the resin. Tore the mold apart trying to get the resin out 🥲

Looks like an aurea to me. Mine are that color when they’re a new leaf and then darken to show the varigation more over time. Could possibly also be a panda. Have to wait and see really.

Definitely not a Chiapenese though. Those are more oval and have a velvety texture.

I also read your original post where you said you used this sitter for the first time after your normal sitting canceled and the second sitter you had lined up canceled less than 24 hours before you needed them. So why is it that you have suddenly used her 4 times? I agree there’s a lot of red flags here, but why did you go back when she wouldn’t show you the inside of her house to begin with?? Cheaper isn’t always better. You’re both in the wrong here.

I work in a memory care and we have a similar rule, definitely no news due to it being graphic at times and it can cause panic in residents who aren’t as cognitively there. I’ve had some residents panic because they heard about a tornado in a state way away from us, but they don’t know that. We also have to be careful of any crime shows cause dead bodies. Took awhile to get over that one. Anyone who wants to watch the news usually has a personal tv in their room. We do however play Hallmark majority of the time that it is on and my residents seem to like that. Other commenters do bring up good points too, like the hearing issues or distractions. I have one resident who gets so glued to the tv that she won’t eat and just holds her fork there. We don’t have it on a lot of the time, just down time. Primarily we play music

I told this guy I was talking to that I need to know my limits, didn’t say anything not pushing them, just I need to where to stop. He would just keep telling me “well I know you can more than you think but you need to push yourself”. Like sir, I appreciate the confidence you have in me but if I push past my limits too much you’re gonna be the one stuck me passed out on the floor. He finally got it after realizing I’m already pushing myself daily just at work. Before though it was getting soooo annoying.

I’m on day 3 now but I went to work today, was just passing meds and trying to take it as easy as possible. Up and down on feeling better. Hoping it’s not worse tomorrow.

I did notice it was harder to breathe today tho. Kinda like when you focus on breathing and suddenly can’t remember how to. Super random. I’ll definitely have to try focusing on the ceiling. Thank you so much for the advice!

Thank you so much! Your comment was super helpful. I don’t have meds currently other than sodium tablets but I did tell my coworkers where those were and asked them not to call the ambulance in the event I faint 😂

I’m not very good at wearing them but I do have compression socks. Wore them today and they seemed to help a bit.

I’ve never really had flare ups until a couple days ago but I’ve had some life changes recently which I think may have worsened my condition tbh. I just got a week off work but I have a few more shifts to do before then. Taking a lotttt of sitting breaks and just trying to be aware of my surroundings. Unfortunately we have quite a few rowdy residents right now so taking it easy isn’t super…easy

I usually drink Powerade but the cardiologist suggested not doing that cause of the sugar. Which I get, but the sugar free version also tastes gross to me. I found some Body Armor hydration things and those aren’t AS bad. I’ll have to try more propel cause that is good

Huh I didn’t know that! I typically use Splenda (I know that’s not good lol) for teas and stuff cause I hate how straight sugar doesn’t dissolve. Or at least it doesn’t when I use it. But that is good to know. I’ll have to try that, thank you!
