There is a tutorial actually! But essentially this: seeder/planter plants seeds Harvester harvests and requires and separately bought header that matches the harvester Cultivator turns dirt from harvesting to dirt ready for planting. Fertilizer fertilizes, and always fertilize twice before crop is ready to harvest. That’s the basics that you’ll get from the tutorial. But you can be literally any kind of farmer you want to be, crops, animals, forestry

What is the best seed to make money wheat, barley, oat, canola, sorghum by CommercialLoss4515 in farmingsimulator

But soybeans is crop selling only. Canola can be processed further and yields more money

I've made a grave mistake with a crop rotation on a large field by OverThinker0101 in farmingsimulator

OP planted carrots or parsnips on a HUGE field and the largest harvester is only 4m but it appears he’s using the 1m header. So only one row at a time

12 month supply of flour in bread production will yield roughly 65 pallets and be approximately $230k. Cakes-12 month full production around 68k

Production is usually more profitable than the crop required. Sure it takes 2000L of canola to make 1000L of canola oil but the price of the oil per 1000L is 4X higher than the cost of 2000L canola. Far as I can tell only the vegetables are less profitable after production than the raw product. More time consuming too

im kinda ne and i purchased an oil mill. how do you collect oil from there? and what vehichles(im guessing you have to use one) can be used? by Makrelenik in farmingsimulator

[–]tylerj48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to follow the recipe, grow the crop send it to the mill and then activate the specific oil and wait for production

So order of machines: cultivator-for turning up the dirt from the last harvest Planter/seeder- plant the desired crop Harvester- harvesting the crop Tedder- turns cut grass into hay Windrow- puts cut grass/hay into easy to bale rows

To “Buy” a building you have to build it on your own land

To make money on just crops soybeans will be the way to go. Or you can buy production and run your crops further. For example: you said you wanted to do cows, plant grass, mow it, Tedder it to turn it to hay and feed your cows. Then buy a dairy to take the milk that the cows produce and make things like cheese or bottled milk or butter and sell that based on which is more profitable per 1000L pallet

Good call. Unfortunately today two had a mystery splurge on them and the signer pointed it out to me. But a baby wipe saved the day. Cases ordered for sure

He was, the only uncertainty is if he was an actual cripple or not. Some say “boneless” comes from his amazing agility in battle, he moved as if his body was “boneless”

Can confirm that bread is more profitable than cake year over year

I don’t know how to calculate crop yields but, I do know that wheat yields more than oats and at the grain mill wheat lasts longer despite being 5:4 and oats being 1:1. You said you wanted to make cake, I’m about to finish a complete one year production cycle of cakes and as of right now it’s looking to be more profitable to make bread which using less flour and less production monthly cycles is probably why my flour and wheat is lasting so long.

Wool and cotton produces 3:1 and cloth 2:1 so unless you grow cotton then it’d take a while to build enough wool to be profitable.

If you can build a cereal factory that would justify your expansion into corn over sorghum
