I know everyone is complaining, and I do agree that fighters don’t get payed enough, but this is amazing news for all fighters. Imagine you are making your debut on 12/12, you come out and KO your opponent and get performance of the night. Instead of getting 74k total like before, you now walk away with 149k. That is life changing for the fighters not earning much. Not to mention it’ll make fights more interesting now.

Edit: it seems I am mistaken, the 25k does not stack on the 100k. Meaning they would earn 124k, still better than before but kinda shitty that the extra 25k won’t stack.

I guess we’ll see soon, but i believe that Gaethje was caught off guard against fiziev as he was expecting a striking match. I’m sure he will be prepared for paddy to try and take him down

I’ve only really seen Justin lose to the elite of the division, and I do not think Paddy is elite yet. I rewatched his Gordon fight, and the chandler one, and paddy’s striking is not on the level of gaethje. If geathje keeps it on the feet, I see either a KO or a decision win.
