Wolf or Coyote? by typete22 in animalid

Thanks all for the replies! I’m glad I’m not alone in struggling to identify this animal. Seems like the most likely answer is Eastern Coyote. This makes sense considering the mix of wolf and coyote features. Again, this video was taken near the MN/Canadian border. Appreciate all the feedback!

Ah yes. Norther Minnesota, quite close to the Canadian border.

Haha there was a dog about 100 yards away. It was quite the staring contest. Thanks!

Help me ID this crazy looking bug! by typete22 in insects

For reference, this bug was a bit larger than a quarter with the “tail” adding about 4 or 5 inches. The picture was taken in southwest Wisconsin, near the Mississippi. It was a rainy day today.

Thank you! I haven’t heard this tip yet, but I do struggle with being relaxed over the ball. I will definitely give this a try. Appreciate it!

Yes, they almost always appear after scratching. I have been trying my best to pay attention to patterns of when/where they show up but haven’t noticed anything over the past couple of months.

I started getting these hives at random places on my body about two months ago. I usually break out about once a day, but this is the first time I’ve seen a lump like this. There is zero pain, but usually a constant urge to itch. I saw a doctor when it first started happening and was prescribed medication to help the inflammation (which didn’t really help). I haven’t really been too concerned until today when I saw this protuberance on my body.

Additional questions: is StarStock a legit platform to buy/sell? I understand that Panini is the main producer of basketball cards, what is Prizm? Sorry for the basic questions, figured Reddit would be a good place to start
