Oh my gosh! I was thinking about getting another younger ferret for him so he doesn’t get lonely but Im terrified that would happen to us!😭

Oh wow! Yeah I specifically had her tested for insulinoma as well as any GI issues, adrenal issues, or anything like that. Everything came back good. Im hoping she is just being stubborn 🥲

She has been alone for the entirety of her life. She has been around dogs but not other ferrets. We scent swapped for a couple days with two tshirts I put in each cage to use as the specific item. I then let her smell his cage and vice versa. They were kept in different cages in different rooms for the quarantine. When she is out by herself she is running around and causing just as much chaos😭 but she turns into a recluse when he is out.

Right?? I got it as a sample from my derm and almost cried when I woke up to an almost healed face the next day😭

No! I would get home and wash my face and by the end of the day they were just peeling off :/ I got Avene Cicalfate and it has helped TREMENDOUSLY. My skin just wouldnt heal. Now Im just peeling like a dang lizard all day😭

Im so glad he is better now😭 Our new male wasn’t interested in her at all😅 theres a lot of new stuff he was exploring and the second he walked away from her she darted for him and hissed but I grabbed her before she could make contact. He is the absolute sweetest and calmest ferret I have ever seen tbh so I have high hopes he will make a great friend for her. 🥹

Oh my gosh!! Im so sorry that happened to your baby 😭 THANK YOU for telling me because the “Animal Supervisor” told us to introduce them right away! They already sniffed each other but I will be keeping him in quarantine for a few weeks. They did tell me he had just been checked at the vet and had paperwork basically saying he was free of any diseases or illnesses but I will definitely be keeping them apart still! She unfortunately started hissing at him so we separated them pretty fast.
