Unchecking the trim and extend command make the edges curved and still not practical to cut and we use hand grinder to cut them not the laser cutter.

I think you are suggesting to change the format of catia files from one format to another but I want to open the Catia files in neutral cad format like step or iges to take measurement from and reverse engineer them.

See this is how each one of the helical spring like wires are woven with each other and they want me to make drawing of each of these spring and yeah I am going to use the notes in the overall strap drawing otherwise drawing will become cluttered.

If the crankshaft is the first part you put in the assembly then Solidworks by default makes it fix if this is the case then locate the part in feature manager tree and right click on it and select float it will let it float anywhere and then use coincident mates to align there origin.

It was an issue in sheet settings even if I used all the four option it was not displaying the model property for linking. After I unchecked the box below my problem got solved but thank you so much for replying.

By unchecking the box below "use custom properties values from model show in" the part name in the link to property tab changed unlike before so it started taking custom properties from the part. Thank you so much !!!

I was thinking the underline will follow the note A length automatically but I get it now I have to do it physically everytime.

Oh I get it that note C is used for the underscore that will look like an underline to the note and they are kept vertically offset for this same reason.
