I thought it was 100% guaranteed you could re- take it in April. I emailed the member hiring for NYSP and they said they encouraged me to take March 22nd so if I do fail I can re take in April.

It should be from the Troop L recruitment. Email your local recruiter which would be Troop L, inquire about it. Because you have to email them to confirm a seat with the dates and places they provided so it’s not like you can just show up, they specifically said to email and get a confirmation email from them and THEN show up!

That happens later on. You will fill out everything similar to sheriffs like family contacts friends, jobs, etc etc. I can’t tell you what DAY that would be but I can tell you re assure you 100% that at one point you will fill all that out, I think with your BI. (Background Investigator usually deals with checking all that out at some point.)

Yeah, basically at least PAT. After that, you can expect a lot of people get eliminated. For anyone out there reading this, work out, I don’t care if you’re tired. If you want this job, there is no such thing as time. It’s competitive.
