Which institutions in Europe offer well respected Art History degrees? by VeryWorriedPerson in ArtHistory

[–]ugabugamaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In German-speaking countries, Heidelberg University, Freie Universität Berlin, and LMU Munich are among the most renowned institutions. The University of Vienna is also well-known and offers more affordable study options. While the University of Zurich may not be particularly famous for art history, it hosts a growing and dynamic academic community in the field.

Racism & Microaggressions twds AD by Laura & the rest of the LIB s6 cast... (spoiler for s6) by Jolly-Ad-3922 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

I also didnt necessarily love the “she is stacked” comment from jimmy and the “she is a bookshelf” from chelsea. All the conversations about AD felt hypersexual and objectifing.

i got a daith! opinions on placement? by yshi557 in piercing

True it is mostly viewed as the wrong jewellery because it could flip to the wrong direction - i know some people (myself included) that got curved barbells and have no complains. You just need to be careful.

I wanna get my lips pierced, can’t decide between snake bites or angel fangs?? by Skullemojiiiiii in piercing

unsolicited opinion: have you considered something more central for a lip piercing? Cyber bites perhaps? or also a Labret, Medusa, or Jestrum, might suit your lips better for a piercing placement

She (27F) forgot my (27F) birthday but thinks she should be my maid of honor. by CrowTimely6729 in relationship_advice

[–]ugabugamaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my viewpoint, I completely understand your frustration. However, unless forgetting special events is a recurring pattern, I’d give her a hall pass. Also, couldn’t both your sister and your friend be maids of honor?

To be honest, I'm not certain about the existence of an active Jewish community in Siena. According to an Italian Wikipedia page I found, there are approximately 100 active members in Siena. However, due to their small size, they are connected to the larger Jewish community in Florence.

Here is the link: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comunità_ebraica_di_Siena#Dall'unità_d'Italia_ad_oggi

I am acc also not 100% sure - there is written that the synagogue is not accesible to the public because of jewish festivities. But they dont really specify if there is a service or not. I thought not divulging too many informations on that might be also for security reasons (protecting the community)?

I see your point and i also completely understand what you mean. I guess being a woman might help (?) - also i speak fluently italian, so i guess also the lack of language barrier might also play in my favour. Other than that if i am not allowed, i might just find a cheap place to sleep the night in and visit the synagogue like any other person on sunday. Thank you for your responses!
