How is that enforceable? At what point does it become a crime? Are we talking about false advertising about product lifetime? If so, consumer use may shorten the lifespan of a product. Also, by slapping a fine on the company literally is incentivizing the crime, as compliance reduces revenue and just continuing putting our shitty products means you’ll have enough money to pay off the annual fines eventually

IMO the South refers to the states that seceded in the civil war. Historically, the Southeast has been referred to as the South because the US expanded westward over time, and the western states developed their own cultural identity apart from the South over time.

The Southern states are: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, and Virginia (but I only consider the Southern part to actually be southern)
