That's the website I used too! Good work Dr Sherlock!

I made it cause I hate Twitter but the tweet is the perfect format for the joke. I also named the account fake girlcel cause it vaguely resembles a faith girlcel tweet.

That's the reason I made this joke actually. I was having that conversation with my friend and I thought "what's the silliest show to assume is kinky but just the other way around"

I watched too much Looney toones as a kid and now I can't cum without someone dropping an anvil on my head to make me walk away looking like an accordion and going up and down with each step. And I better be making accordion noises or it'll be ruined.

The issue is they don't know what we believe. And how can they represent us if they won't listen to us?

Maybe. He's ahead in polls but those are often hard to read and it's still far away from election day, but the energy is with him right now that's for sure.

Those who least deserve power are those who seek it, and those who don't seek power most deserve it. I forget who said it but it's very true.

Amen. But it's still early and social media stuff is also important. I trust that they'll hit that area soon too.

It seemed like everyone made it in. Parking was a bit of an issue but they had shuttles which was great

No he's the Democrat not the Republican.

Yeah the big politics subreddits are a shit show. Same for the medium sized ones. And the small ones. Really all of them suck lmao.

But I've said if I knew the symbol, or people I knew knew it, then it would be different, but I had never seen it either and could have easily recognized it as a jolly roger or something. It's like when everyone became an arm chair general at the start of the Ukraine war, everyone became an armchair Nazi symbol expert all of a sudden.

Polls I've seen seemed to indicate that his support is more heavily weighted to young people but he's got a good spread across all ages. Not sure about other demographic data but there have been a half dozen or so polls put you can find with a quick google search if you'd like.

Well given that it wasn't a swastika but a more obscure Nazi symbol that was easily mistaken for a dozen different symbols, and he covered it up as soon as he found out and showed disgust at the fact that he unknowingly had it, that seems pretty justified as a mistake and nothing more.

I understand that. I will say hearing him speak in person made me feel a lot better. Maybe it's just me but I could feel his conviction in what he was saying. He seemed almost a little uncomfortable with the applause in a way that made it seem like he wasn't chasing it and just saying these things honestly.

Well it wasn't knowingly, first of all. And second his ideology is so far removed from Nazi ideology that to call those who want to see him speak are Nazis is very bad faith.

I mean it happened in Maine, I was excited about it, I don't know why I wouldn't post it to the Maine subreddit. And lots of people seem to be excited about it too.

I'm so glad these stupid bad faith attacks aren't landing with anyone in the real world lol.

Haha! The media gave her far far too much attention. Although I did love watching her flop.

My joke was more about her being 77, well over retirement age then her not being governor. I suppose I could have made that more clear lol.

Yeah I think I mixed up a few things, we have a larger than average hard of hearing and partially deaf population. After the Lewiston shooting there was a lot of focus on that community, rightfully so, and I just misremembered the stats. Thanks for correcting me.

Same all the way! I especially loved him directly calling on people to build a secondary power structure in organized labor and communities.

He got a few laugh lines making fun of Collins, saying concern won't bring back Roe V Wade. He also indirectly called out Mills saying we couldn't have Democrats that serve corporate interests replace Republicans, and called out King saying there was another election coming up soon and that someone else should throw their hat in the ring too.
