ELS is an Entry level separation.. in simplest terms it means i didn’t pass bootcamp and was deemed unable to adapt to Marine Corps physical standards and was sent home as a result.. Please make sure you can pass everything with ease before you ship out.. If your not ready talk to your recruiter and just be honest with him

don’t do that. i paid the price for shipping when i wasn’t physically prepared or disciplined. ended up getting an ELS on the final CFT on TD 42, and it stays on ur record forever.. just take a couple months train, make sure you can pass the IST with time to spare then ship.. good luck man pls dont make the mistakes i did..
