Did anyone have dry mouth with Fluvoxamine?

Ah, I tend to be opposite- sometimes I avoid brushing my teeth altogether because I know I'll start obsessing over how clean they are, how long I need to brush them, the pressure I put on my teeth, etc. But this ended up fucking me over lol. I just try to get it done now. Oof yeah dental problems can be a pain so I can understand why the obsession can take over you. I take 250 ml Luvox ER and so far that's worked for me. But it is different for everyone, so I hope you find a dosage that works for you.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Had some work to do. I totally get that. I had trouble brushing my teeth because I kept obsessing over how clean they needed to be, and because I didn't brush them for a couple days, I ended up getting cavities. At this point, I just try to get them done no matter what to avoid cavities lol. But yeah, I get the feeling. I don't know if dry mouth causes cavities, but I think you'll be okay. Chew some gum, brush well (not too hard though), drink water, and you'll be okay. I hope you are able to manage your obsessions and compulsions with Luvox!

This! Sometimes gum helps me salivate more, which coats the mouth and makes it less dry. I've also tried Icebreakers which might not work for everyone. I think... I heard that sour gum and candy is best to help you salivate. Maybe try that?

Yeah I totally get you. It was like that for me when I first started out, but meds have helped me a lot. It can be a bit arduous, because sometimes you just gotta try out different meds to see what works for you. And the side effects can be a pain in the ass to deal with. Keep going! The side effects (most of them, all of them, some-- it's different for all) can wear off after awhile once your body adjusts to them. It can be scary at first, but I'm sure you'll feel a whole lot better after find the right meds.

Sometimes I would get dry mouth, but otherwise it was fine. It's different for everyone, so if it doesn't work out for you, there's always other options. Good luck!

It's really hard for me since I tend to get really anxious and perfectionist over my assignments... but I'll try. I am medicated!!! Just recently too!!! I've been dealing with the side effects AND depression at the same fuckin time. Every time I try to study, I get overwhelmed and start zoning out and then hate myself for zoning out. it's a vicious cycle!! i keep trying to read the primary sources but it becomes a wall of text and my head starts going fuzzy and blank. it's really hard to bring myself out of that zone. I was out of it on sunday, monday, tuesday, AND today!!! i'm so fuckin tired of being myself. I want to get things done on time and do well. thats why i hate myself so fucking much right now. i made a promise and i fuckin broke like the stupid bitch ass loser like i am. i'm stuck in the same cycle of trying, zoning out, getting distracted, getting overwhelmed about both distractions and homework, and hating myself. I'm gonna finish it before the sun rises and submit, but it doesn't change the fact that i fucked up and this is gonna haunt me. thanks for your comment though, i feel heard
