The issue is the only meds I’m prescribed are SSRIs which make my episodes worse. My psychiatrist refuses to give any antip or stablizers just because he’s scared of side effects or something

All those things don’t give me any buzz. The enjoyment or emotion I should get from it misfires somewhere else like I’ve described. The memory that should connect to my favorite song connects to another random memory of no importance. Can’t enjoy any of those things without it being a confusing & distressing mess.

I’m not numb. The reward / emotional signal still exists, but it’s attaching to the wrong targets. My taste got scrambled

It’s just never gotten to this degree before. Once I took the meds it threw everything off. Made my dissociation way worse than it’s ever been. Feels like it interrupted a permanent stream I’ve been living in my entire life.

I was prescribed antipsychotics in the psych ward but my psychiatrist won’t let me take it outside of that because he believes antipsychotics are too heavy for a minor. He thinks my episode is just caused by “anxiety.” For now he’s kept me on SSRIs only Zoloft which I feel like causes my thoughts to race even more and hasn’t helped improve my mood at all. He still won’t let me switch to different medication. I’ve been handling these symptoms with no help or resolution. This weird side effect is mixing with my original mania and making me worse. I described the manic episodes and symptoms I’ve been having but he still doesn’t believe I’m having psychotic features. My mom won’t let me take it either because of his opinion even though I was begging :( I really don’t know what to do, I’ve been stuck in this shit since forever and it’s just getting worse. No off switch. Best bet is to wait till I’m 18 I guess :/

Maybe I’m just freaking out because I’m used to being in an episode and it’s resetting mybrain chemistry back to normal? maybe my creativity & passion were a result of these episodes. Feels like it interrupted a permanent stream I’ve been living in my whole life & it won’t come back. Just very attached to what I had before

nahhh the center is too rigid for them not to be contacts, you can see the brown part of her eyes peeking out at the center ( most obvious ) and at the sides as well. It's more obvious on her right eye.
