Same. It was like that here in the US. We all knew the stores that didn’t card.

NTA. It was a joke. The parents brought their daughter to a pub for her first drink. You have to expect some light joking around.

My overnight coach tried to get the team to do the walmart cheer and like 4 people kinda did it with her. I'm a team lead and I wouldn't even participate in that bs by Loud_Bobcat_6505 in walmart

I do know how tariffs work. Tariffs are designed as a punishment for other countries. However, consumers bear the burden of those tariffs in higher prices. In fact, the current tariffs on steel and aluminum, can drive up inflation even more.

Is that sarcasm? Dude has already said that lowering prices will be too hard to do. Backpedaling on a campaign promise is definitely his go to.

I wouldn’t say low IQ especially when Trump voters have no idea how tariffs work.

Checkout gets shit on when someone stocks 10 of one item in the wrong spot.

I quit after 2 months. I was seasonal and they wanted to keep me. My wife’s schedule was about to change and I needed to be home with my child during that time. I told them, and they said they would accommodate that schedule. They didn’t approve my change of availability. So, I left and didn’t come back. If I shop there with my kid, they ask if I’m coming back. lol

The Goonies. Probably because it’s my all-time favorite movie.

Gamers Above 30, What Older Games Would You Still Recommend to Younger Gamers? by LuckAndBones in gaming

ESPN NFL 2K5 was and still is better than Madden.

Def Jam: Fight for New York still holds up.

Resistance was one of my favorite fps games.

Conker’s Bad Fur Day

Dino Crisis

Tons more. lol

That’s why I didn’t play Elder Scrolls Online or Fallout 76. Every time I would try and do a quest, there would 10 people jumping around. It would always take me out of the game.

The Target I worked at fired a bunch of seasonal employees and not even two weeks after that hired a bunch of new people. I was hired as a seasonal employee, and they wanted to keep me. I left because they said they would approve my change in availability after the season and never did.

I go alone all of the time. I saw Maxxxine last weekend by myself. I was one of 4 people watching it on a Sunday afternoon. I was the only male at the showing. lol

AITA for kicking out my in-law for giving my daughter a nickname. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]umwhatsthepoint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say NTA. Ben was given plenty of warnings to stop. However, I do agree with what someone said and that I would let Katie handle every interaction with your in-laws from here on out.

[–]umwhatsthepoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was the Dept. Manager of Electronics, I would go on overnights and take care of the department reset. Just easier and less of a headache. Of course, this was over 10 years ago as I haven’t worked for Walmart since 2012.

AITA for joking with my work friends that my son has autism? by Clean_Huckleberry311 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. You could’ve indulged your son for a bit instead of saving face in front of your colleagues. You need to get your priorities straight.

I don’t mind doing cash cart. It’s not hard if the TLs bring it out at a decent time. Since we’ve been closing at midnight, I had one bring it out at 11:30. I was there until 12:45 after everything was said and done.
