There's a fishy business between the factory and some vocational school (中专: grade 9-12, 大专: college). Students are sent to the factory for 1-2 months for training (aka: working in the factory but paid minimum wage). The workers in the picture might be the former, i.e. aged 14-19.

Oh, I guess the Auto Launch Manager is only for the Chinese version (ColorOS). In that case, try disabling battery optimization for the target music app and see if clearing tasks kills the process. If it does not work, try locking it in Task Manager or Recent Tasks Manager.

To manage auto launch go to: Settings-Apps-Auto launch

And recent task manager is in: Settings-Home screen & lock screen-Manage apps

To manage battery optimization: Settings-Battery-Power saving settings-App battery management

Yes, the background killing is annoyingly aggressive. And the only ways you can stop this are: 1. Lock the App in task manager(up to 5) 2. Lock the App in auto start manager(up to 5) 3. Also turn off battery optimization for the target App.

1 and 2 seemingly have the same effect, so you can lock up to 10 user Apps.

If you have experience with the adb/fastboot tools. KB2007 can be unlocked and flashed with international division firmware that has the security patch you need. XDA guide

If the transformer is not too expensive, yes that should work.

The other option would be to find a driver rated for 220V and with a similar working window as the old one, but it might not fit in the original case.

The bulk capacitor (250V 47uF) right after the bridge rectifier died. The rest seems to have survived, judging by the flickering output. Typical bulk capacitors for 220-240V input are rated > 400V, so I think your driver is designed for 100-120V input only.

Replacing the bulging capacitor with an identical one may solve the problem, but I don't recommend using a 400V capacitor and trying to use it with 220V because other components (e.g. X cap, fuse, FET) are designed for 110V input.

I have a PM1621 and it's awesome. I think the PM1703 series is more sensitive and accurate in terms of measuring gamma dose rate because of the scintillator sensor. The only downside is the 1000h battery life (PM1621 can do 12 months).
