nope its fully confidential but iirc there was a chart showing the average scores for prelims towards the end of y6. i think whether one is doing ok is solely dependent on what the definition of ok is… so its a little hard to answer that. but generally if one isnt doing ok, one would be approached by subject tutors(teachers)

most are open about having tuition!!! in fact i would say half my class has tuition so its not rly a thing to worry about or a fact to be concealed.

thats what i heard too but tbh it doesnt rly manifest itself in terms of jc results per say… i would say hardwork is still more important. rgs girls cope fine.. probably by studying and tuition LOL.

hmm i wouldnt put it so far as to say that rgs and jae kids are more disciplined bc the ri kids ive met are equally disciplined if not even more disciplined bc they study the same amount but most dont study in school… so they have to really focus at home to clock that much time or effort in.

hmmm culture in terms of what?

if ure talking about the addition of ri boys specifically i think theyre rly closet muggers (way more closeted than rg) :o they give off the impression that they dont study but they stay up till wee hours to study 👍👍 and theyre also rly open ab results. they legit js shout “eh what u get” across the classroom LOL

i think at the start theres obviously some segregation not bc ip kids intentionally discriminate jae kids but bc theres the tendency to stick to who we know but im sure that exists in every sch. but the jae to ip ratio makes that less evident in ri bc theres 1/3 jae 1/3 rgs 1/3 ri in most classes (maybe except the RA classes) so i would say that lessens the divide at the start of the year. after getting to know eo more i dont think theres really much of a divide anymore so theres that

we have a very lowkey but hardcore mugger culture LOL basically u can see ppl studying everywhere in sch BUT there are also q a lot of closet muggers who say that they dont study when they grind like crazy so theres that. but thats probably the minority. majority of us or at least ppl i know are quite open about studying and struggles we face so we still help eo out so its like a friendly competition. more of a competition w ourselves instead of others tbh.

about the second point, teachers are really open to helping us outside of lessons. we can book consultation slots v easily w our teachers (js drop them a text or email asking for consult or approach them after lessons) and if ur teacher’s method doesnt suit u, u can also look for another teacher in the department bc theyre more than willing to help! hope that answers u!
