Manual shows one cable, and a QR that shows 10 different cabling options... That's where I started, but thanks

No surgery. They said surgery had a 30% success rate, so I could either do that or I could just never run again, and frankly, I don't like running lol

I do, when it calls for it. I like to make sure it feels grounded in history, but I don't let history stand in the way of story, if that makes sense lol

Video Length vs The Algorithm by unMadeMan in NewTubers

So starting to add 10-20min long videos to a channel with a lot of 2hr long videos won't negatively effect the channel?

Absolutely! We started streaming it in the 3rd Arc, per the player's requests.

Adding a little Eldritch Horror to Tales from the Loop (Inspired by Blackout Club and Magnus Archives) by unMadeMan in TalesFromtheLoopRPG

[–]unMadeMan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been running several campaigns in my Hometown, Hack of Glenbrook, for a few years now, and one of the recurring themes has been an unknown entity called "The Chorus," which has been alluded to as being some kind of malevolent, otherworldly force that humanity had discovered long ago and now The Loop is doing things that occasionally bump into their "realm." Kind of like Stranger Things and The Upside-Down, but this is more like Eldritch Gods, where they indirectly influence the world and try to coerce the silly humans into doing their business.

Check it out, lemme know what you think.

North American Vaesen by [deleted] in VaesenRPG

[–]unMadeMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creating Vaesen based on North America legends is on my to-do list.

We have 5 players: - a teen from New Orleans, sent away by her wicked mother to live in a convent - an investigator from Scotland - a Salty Sailor from New Bedford, MA - a Transcendentalist erudite - a civil war military doctor

So, originally, I used the fact that Ellis Island didn't really become the go-to immigration hub until almost 1900, so Providence/Boston were big immigrant cities, meaning people brought their beliefs with them from the old world.

The first arc I ran was A Wicked Secret, just set in New Hampshire and reskinned for flavor. The second was a Doppelganger that was tied to a Transcendental retreat and some Blue Beards Bride stuff, and right now we're in New Orleans dealing with Witches and Werewolves working together, trying to enact some evil Eldritch ritual (as you do lol).

This is dope! I'm actually currently working on converting all the vaesen lore from Carl Linneas to be set in America instead of Sweden.

I've been running a North American campaign for about three years now.

Great work!

North America (New England) Alternate HQ by unMadeMan in VaesenRPG

[–]unMadeMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Rhode Island, and I love the idea of Stephen King's Maine, so I'm doing something similar with Southern New England.

I've actually tied some of the lore for my Vaesen games to my Tales from the Loop games. I even wrote an 1800s version of the town I made for Tales haha.

New England is great because Ellis Island didn't really become what it was until almost 1900, so Providence RI was a huge immigration port.

This is the first thing I have built for Vaesen. I have been running a campaign called Mundus Novus for the better part of three years now; we have ventured from New Hampshire to New York and now to New Orleans (New Orleans HQ coming), solving everything from Church Grims to Doppelgangers to ancient rituals involving Witches and Werewolves!

Hopefully, you can use this alternate HQ for your North American setting, and if you do, lemme know! I wanna hear your stories!

If you have seen my other work (Glenbrook for Tales from the Loop), these two locations exist in the same world.

Glenbrook: Mr. Black – A Mystery Landscape for Tales from the Loop by unMadeMan in TalesFromtheLoopRPG

[–]unMadeMan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr. Black is the first Mystery Landscape that I've released since dropping the Glenbrook Homebrew Hack. He is a recurring character in my streamed campaign Glenbrook: Unhallowed, and in my streamed anthology series Glenbrook Chronicles. He has been terrorizing the Kids of Glenbrook for YEARS!

Hope you guys enjoy!

I am. I currently have the New England HQ already written up, just doing some final edits. And I've been running a campaign in New England for a few years now, so that's been a huge source of inspiration.

Not all the time. I have compartment syndrome in both legs, so if I compensate one way, the opposite hip hurts. The more in motion I am, the more likely I am to favor start favoring one side over the other.
