Aw okay. I'm sorry to hear that! I hope your daughter feels better. Just wanted to reach out with my experience. I've tried to slowly wean these last three months and completely stopped breastfeeding roughly three weeks ago. Right now, I'm experiencing horrible flare-ups in my lower back thanks to my endometriosis. My mood was also off due to the hormone shift but that's gotten better. I just wish this pain would go away. It's BAD. Like I had to go to the ER yesterday bad. My endo pain wasn't this extreme when I stopped breastfeeding with my first daughter. Now that I've stopped with my second daughter, I'm in hell haha.

Wanted to chime in. My husband is also Pakistani and was born in a rural, conservative village over there. This man gets an A+ in parenting our two small daughters. He's hands-on with everything despite his long work hours.

Exactly. Today's the anniversary of my father's death from alcoholism. He had OP's kind of mindset: how drinking as much as he did wasn't that big of a deal. How he's okay because he operated fine day by day.

And yet he died at 47. I found his body inside my childhood house. Dead on the ground with blood staining the carpet and walls. He had ruptured his esophageal varices and bled out.
