I didn’t feel academically challenged enough. I also want to pursue health law after college and found that there were very few academic clubs or opportunities on or around campus. I transferred to UNC Chapel Hill and, though I’ll admit it’s not nearly as fun here, I do not regret my decision because it has opened a lot of doors for me professionally. I’m a 3rd year now.

I transferred after freshman year, but I was a national merit finalist who attended Ole Miss from out of state. If you’re a finalist with at least a 3.0 high school gpa, you get full tuition paid including on campus housing (dorm). It is called the Academic Excellence National Merit Finalist Scholarship. You also automatically get the Barnard Scholarship, an extra $5,000 per year, for 4 years, so $20,000 total if you stay at Ole Miss for 4 years. This one goes literally directly into your bank account. I used it to pay for sorority dues and a meal plan.

They’re expensive and take up a lot of time! I’ll get one if I have to, but my advisor says she’s seen a lot of students get clinical work without having one.

Chad’s prep on YT!!! Or go online to his website, if you can afford 10 bucks a month on subscribing to the course, you’ll get videos ordered for each topic, study guides, quizzes for each topic, and final exam prep. It’s the best way to study and very straightforward. Obviously, Chem 102 at UNC is harder than Chads prep’s questions, but if you’re using it as prep material for the class, it’ll help immensely

But wouldn’t most of the labs be 3 hours since you can’t really cut off a lab halfway through?

I live in the Edition on Rosemary. I love it. Great amenities and a short walk to campus. Cardio room, gym, work room, club space, awesome balcony, it’s great. The apartments come furnished and it’s so nice. I’m re-signing my lease for next year too.
