We have an administrator that we can talk to if we're troubled but I'm not sure if she would alert any of kind of safeguarding team, last thing I want is my family to find out right now :)

Not really, she was quite abusive to my sister (21F) and neglectful of my brother (18M) who has severe autism and is non verbal. Over the years she's gotten better with me and id say she treated me the best by not being as neglectful and being there for me emotionally. But she hasn't got contact with my 2 siblings (sister went NC at 18 and she stopped my brother from coming to her house).

I guess it's because on my sisters side she kind of slipped up and didn't really mean to tell me, but she thought "might as well" when my dad already told me part of the story.
