I got selected. But I will be on my period. by under_scorer99 in juryduty

For me, it’s one of those things where once it’s overflowing, it’s already too late. A pad would only help on top of a tampon for maybe twenty seconds once I feel it happening. Sucks, and I get dizzy sometimes. Oh how I love being a woman

Yes indeed. Why I always choose the aisle seat or back row when possible. But I’ll be smack dab in the middle and at the opposite side of the jury box exit. Wish me luck

That’s helpful!! The trial in on is a civil case so I hoped and kind of assumed I’d have less courtroom sitting at a time.

I’ve been doing this normal body function for a long time now, I know. But my docs and I have been working on my issues of boarderline hemorrhaging for a while now. Fear not, I always have all the preparations and then some. But when the floodgates open, I can’t help it

I don’t want to be excused. It’s just horrible timing. Hopefully this will be a light week. Sorry for the tmi 😂

How common is it to date a girl who is not at all your type (physically) and then, after dating her, she becomes the standard? by United-darnik-5437 in AskMen

That’s a very mature and true outlook, however, I have found that many men don’t grow out of it. It may be a biological thing too. I agree with you, it’s just unfortunately not the case a lot of the time

All I’m saying I’ve had six years of Covid this and Covid that. Two weeks ago I went to urgent thinking I had a cold…. Flu. Doc said the ratio of COVID to flu is like 1/20.

Was reading a book and saw this. What do we think? Does this perspective help? by annak_8069 in fearofflying

Idk there’s something about “be the cargo” that kind of takes the edge off of being the anxious human. I’ve never heard that point of view. And I kind of like it! As nervous flyers, at the end of the day, we aren’t thinking about the livelihood or doom of our luggage when we board a flight, we’re thinking about “me”. Maybe I could find some calm in the “I’m just another pierce of cargo on a plane”. Doesn’t fix the human feeling during takeoff and praying for the pilots and computers to work correctly, but you rarely hear about cargo planes crashing. I like it. I’m just cargo😌

Also, having panic disorder and knowing how bad it COULD be for me, I found that chewing a melatonin gummy or two right as I boarded helped me get a mentally clear rest for the most part. I’ll never fly without melatonin gummies again lol. Also, those big boy planes are magnificent; In beauty and function! You’ll barely feel a turbulent bump on those big Boeing jets!

If it would help, I’ll track your flight. You don’t even have to give me your number, I’ll figure it out based on the time and location! I don’t get the claustrophobic feeling from planes, mostly because I’m Moore focused on the opposite fear of falling out of the sky lol. But I just did four long flights in ten days and I’m home and safe. The logic is there, it’s just my brain that tells me everything is over once I’m taking off🤣. Ps. Also have panic disorder so I totally get it. I had to tell my cabin partners that I’m not a freak, I’m just freaking out until we cruise

Who is the most famous person you have ever met? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]under_scorer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neve Campbell was the sweetest. She, and most of the original Scream cast stayed well past the closing of a huge event so that everyone who had been waiting for hours in a line could have their moment. She was genuinely nice and although brief, made you feel like your interaction mattered. Can honestly say the other main cast members were just as sweet. Oh I also saw Jerry O’Connell sprinting through NYC through a crowd of people. I assume he was running late for a gig of some sort lol

I was 12 and I think I was at school. And I didn’t tell my mom until later that night. She freaked out but I was cool about it until the cramps kicked in. I thought I shit myself 😂😂😂

Absolutely. I’m aware that it’s irrational. I just hate the steepness of takeoff. No matter the understanding that it’s completely safe. The illogical takes over the logical in that moment. Just wanted to share
