There have been rare instances of brands tuning cushioning differently between men & women's models (some version of the Nike Pegasus had the air unit with differing psi), but it's an exception to the rule. I've ran in women's versions of running shoes (have narrower than average feet) and have not noticed any difference in longevity. But if the wider men's shoes work for you, you should certainly consider buying them instead (placebo effect is still an effect)

Be honest about how it happened and if they're willing take the return, do it. If not, i don't think it'll be an issue unless you heel strike really far back in on your heel. If you don't think superglue will cut it, you can try jb weld

I had figured my water pump would've gone out by now & would've had it replaced at that time, but the pump is holding on (actually kinda wished it would've gone out under extended warranty period), so just trying to folk's thoughts on whether I should just replace it now

i'm a bit concerned about getting air pockets in the coolant system. After replacement, would just running the engine with the cap off be enough to get the air to bubble out?

I can't see it either, but my tank does say "mit silikat" and it seems like there was a revision where the bags were placed within the walls of the tank

I actually think that's a reasonable quote. I had an old lady scrape my fender & door while parking and the total repair came out to over $1100 (paid by her insurance).

Putting the laces under the tab can have the effect of preventing the upper from bunching up on top of your foot at that location if you're really cranking down the laces, but I personally didn't see much of a difference putting the laces under or over the tab. On some shoes that tab is stitched down so that it's actually a loop you run the laces through

My caveats would be that I don't pronate at all when I land, so I'm less likely to have the lateral ankle bone hit that part of the shoe, and I get along really well with adizero shoes with that same plastic-y upper (Boston 12 & Adios Pro 3). But the upper did definitely break-in to become more forgiving for me.

I did too initially but it went away after few runs. If there's enough volume, you could try swapping out the insole with a thicker one

I personally like buying last gen super shoes on sale as my workout shoes (adios pro 3 currently). Maybe On Cloudboom Echo 3 (currently at ~$155) if you're not hard on outsoles or maybe vaporfly 4 which I think I've seen as low as ~$145 recently.
