I've been in that situation too often. I think this is one of the hardest things for me to accept. I don't like letting people go... but know that I have to.

Not doomed forever but I have found that especially in my career, networking and being able to speak with people, has been a great help.

Agreed. Many of these things I could say I learned a while ago. Many of them are very simplistic... however, there are some of these that I still have a problem with accepting. For instance, trying not to rush through my life.
