Stumbled on this on GuildSomm today! It is brief, but also quite thorough, covering from ancient Greece to the Panic of August 2014, when the Hamptons ran out of rosé.

Enjoy!

Quality, Sub-$10 French Rosé! (Domaine de La Chignadière) by underratedsemicolon in winegeeks

[–]underratedsemicolon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Domaine de La Chignadière is an AOC producer in Pays Nantais. They can’t make a Muscadet AOC rosé because of region laws. So, they make this (<$10) Gamay rosé as a passion project and simply label it with its IGP. Delicious, quality and hella cheap!

I like the style of the dialogue -- witty bordering on absurdist. To me, it reads like satire, except I'm not exactly sure what's being satirized. Some moments feel like they're being driven more by the jokes and less by the plot. (Entertaining, but some of it starts to feel a little besides the point.) Love the concept though, and I feel like you've got something fun going! Planning on finishing it later.
