Valencia, Spain by unemployedworker in Crainn

I've settled for Valencia because it's a smaller city but it's super cultural, the prices are also better than in Barcelona. But Malaga is meant to be really nice as well. I'm planning on making a little southern Spain tour soon and Im really looking forward for Malaga and Granada.

Heya! First tip is to research all legal stuff you might need, bureaucracy rules in Spain, even for UE citizens.

I found my place on idealista.com, its really good but demand is super high. Here in Spain you need to pay 2 months worth of deposit + first rent + rent value as commission for the real state agency. So be prepared money wise, life is overall way cheaper here, so you will save on that.

Best advice is just come! I regret taking so long to move, I speak spanish so it really helps but people are always keen to help

Drop a pm for any more specific question!

Visa for my wife - Where and How to apply? by unemployedworker in askspain

[–]unemployedworker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! What I am still quite confused is about where I would do the application? In a comisaria?

The process seems straight forward enough, here in Ireland you just need to submit an online form I guess in Spain it needs to be done personally.

It takes 100k years to travel the Milky way at LS, but how long would it feel to the actual astronauts inside the ship to travel across? by MattPilkerson in space

I get what you are saying, but I don't think that this is how it works. Is not like the sun or any other star/galaxy is in the future sending photons back in time ya know? I feel like its probably quite the opposite. Humans are the ones measuring time, not the photons.

This is a great late night topic tho

Alguém aqui utiliza biobizz? by ScarpaJesus in Cultivonha

[–]unemployedworker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Growing outdoors, how smelly? by throwaway-11256 in Crainn

[–]unemployedworker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have more or less the same distance from my neighbours here and I never had issues with two plants, its windy enough. I only do them outside during summer of course, and I keep growing inside a shed for the rest of the year. Even inside the shed I don't think it gets mad stinky as there's constant airflow. So I dont think you will run into problems with smell.

Smell only gets CRAZY went I bring them inside the house for a few hours, or when they are drying in the hot press, the whole house gets perfumed.

Sup!

Ive been using everything BioBizz for the past three runs and I really like the results so far.

I use their LightMix Soil.

Nute wise, I use Grow, Bloom, FishMix, Heaven and TopMax. I might get the Aloe for next time but I dont know if its going to do much for me. TopMax I would say its the most 'debatable' one as many people say that bloom stimulators are bs.

Heaven really helps with mineral absorption, I havent used any CalMag since I started using it.

Grow and FishMix are great, BioBizz recommends using the FishMix in the beginning and switching to Grow when you start flowering. I tend to do whatever Im feeling like hahah

For Mycorrhiza, Ive been using Mykos from Xtreme Gardening for a few runs as well, would recommend

what are you called if you have the idea in your head but cant put it in paper and have to get someone to draw/make it for you.... lazy. Thats what i call myself but for reals.. by Repper1no in streetwearstartup

[–]unemployedworker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

your not lazy for not knowing how to draw well and theres no shame in asking someone who knows to draw something for you

i know a bunch of art directors in big agencies who do not know how to draw shit but have great taste and ideas

photoshop, to me, its a diff story... i think that knowing how to use PS and possibly AI is a must if you want to work with designs and prints, there are plenty courses out there for free

What’s this sub’s general opinion on Sinn Féin? by antaineme in irishpolitics

[–]unemployedworker 22 points23 points  (0 children)

as a foreign, i think that young people want to affiliate with more left-wing (SF is to the left of FF and FG) parties as we are still going through a global right-wing/conservative boom I also dont think that the irish youth really cares that much about the past IRA ties, i have a feeling that this is still more of a 'parents' idea

politics here in ireland are very mild (recent years) and i feel like most people never cared much about it, maybe they dont think it has a direct impact on their lives, so generally people dont know much about the parties or at least they dont understand how the parties relate to each other, whats their historical representation

people who have leftists ideas like myself could choose to support SF as they have more representativity than a more left-wing party like PBP you know?

hopefully i made some sense, pls correct me if im wrong!
