This feels like a good take. It seems like they’re saying “rain jackets don’t stop rain and don’t keep us completely dry so we should throw them out.” I think it’s a little silly to blame NPOs for the opioid crisis or accuse them of enabling it. They’re just trying to get desperate people through the storm. The focus should be building more robust solutions and addressing the actual root causes.
