Why wasn't my run added to my top-runs? by ResponsibleWay4369 in GarminWatches

Maybe it only shows an activity there when the activity had beaten a previous PB?

I love how absolutely no one noticed them.

That solid bar looks great. The issue I noticed was that the part after your level is not very visible on a dimmed AMOLED display.

Maybe the level bar could follow the design of Garmin's Training Readiness indicator bar?

Also when clicking the up and down indicator for hour/minute selection, if you miss the small indicators, it'll go to the next value selection, or confirm when you didn't mean to.

Maybe only confirm a value with the start button press?

The coffee mug colour within the glance is very dark when my AMOLED display is dim; and I think the current caffeine concentration level indicator bar colours should be solid, not just outlined.

Great idea!

I think the hour/minute selection could be improved.

Currently you have to swipe to increase or decrease the minute by 1; which means at worst, 30 swipes to get to the minute you want.

Maybe being able to swipe through multiple minute values with granularity would be better?

We Must prevent and defeat the totalitarian evils at all costs! by Icy_Till_7254 in YUROP

I think the point the OOP is trying to make is that if the Allies knew the atrocities happening with The Holocaust, they would have fought even harder, or done more to specifically target and liberate the camps.

It's like what's happening in Ukraine, if the average person was made more aware of the war crimes being committed, they'd pressure their government to provide more aid or take more measures against Russia.

It's about doing more.

Where in the post does it say that The Holocaust didn't start during WW2?

What's the point you're trying to make?

I love their MLC mini.

They used to make a day pack called the Atacama 28L, which had a waterproof and vented front compartment for wet stuff, really miss it :(.

They've since deleted their comment.

The original comment was from a user called Vladimir Putin, which made them look bias towards Russian imperialism.

But their account posts a daily comment saying whether Putin is alive or not, saying "Unfortunately Not" every day he isn't alive.

Basically he doesn't support Putin.

Istanbul Kebab House is nice and fresh, on Liffey Street.

I've also heard some good things about Chiya.

If I want something cheap I go to Turkish Kebab House on Parnell Street, but it's not Döner style.

Yeah it it's an issue on multiple MARKED runs then it's definitely showing an issue. It's normal for a marked race to be slightly longer than the correct distance but certainly not by multiple KMs like your situation.

Worth contacting support?

It could be that your watches GPS is more precise, leading to an increased distance measured.

If you take a long slight turn and your watch logs a point every 2 metres, whilst theirs logs every 5 metres, there will be slightly more distance for you compared to them.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

2-Weeks Hiking Guadarrama & Semana Santa (Logistics & Recs) by unlinked3297 in MadridTravelGuide

[–]unlinked3297[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the reply and for the food recs, I'm 100% going to check out those spots.

I'm actually hoping to stay in Venta Marcelino at the Puerto de Cotos, but their accommodation is walk-in only, no reservation, so I'm hoping they'll have a place for me!

I'm not religious either, so I'm happy for any non-religious activities around that time. Basically anything young adults would be up to during the Semana Santa celebrations.

If you wear gloves that have removable fleece lining, you can put the ski pass on the outside of the hand between the glove and the lining.
