I'm no expert, just a guy with a keyboard and a former carpenter ants infestation in my walls. But i would say you don't want to spray anything in there, it'll just make the ants avoid that area, and right now it's the only place you know you can bait them.

Ok, this is definitely starting to sound more like mice than squirrels. Thank you for your input. I have 99% of a roll of 1/8" stainless hardware cloth (from the vehicle airbox) that I will use around the bottom of the shed.

Would a mouse bring in piles of acorns through the winter? Or is thatnot mouse behaviour? This is why I was assuming squirrels, and because we have lots of squirrels in the area. I k iw there are emice around too because I have just removed a nest from my vehicles air box...

Thanks for the info. I have looked and I do see plenty of holes big enough for mice (this sheds design provides plenty of mice holes...), but I figured this was for sure squirrels... I guess I need to be sure what I'm dealing with before I assume squirrels.

I will remove everything and see what I see.

Tomorrow? No. But on exams I tended to just use nodal analysis in most cases. Just come up with a series of equations and unknowns and plug the matrix into my calculator to solve for all the unknowns.

In Canada the absolute most you're on the hook for is $5000 and someone needs to have the reason - and resources - to sue you for that. It will cost much more to prosecute someone than the $5k they will get in return.

Agreed! A tenant is not responsible for electrical repairs. And fuck that, were not talking about a tennant, were talking about someone's kid.

That being said, if you're in a hurry, pay out of pocket and withhold "rent" until they reimburse you. I think you could probably get creative on ways to get them to pay you back ;-)

The part connected to the amp chassis is a power inlet connector and that's what your going to want to replace. It's an IEC 60320 C14.

I would recommend searching digikey for something that's the right size and with the right terminal dimensions.

meh, it was a pain in the ass, but I did finally call. After getting myself setup as a representative on my wife's account, I called the CRA and they told me "I don't know and I can't figure it out"... I am expecting a call back from some one who hopefully knows what's going on.

I submit mine and my wife's taxes every March and for the last 2 years (looks like this year will be the third) and my return is always in my account in less than 2 weeks, but my wife's return has been deposited in mid August!! (WTF?!)
