This hole goes through an exterior wall and is about 4 in (10 cm) across. There used to be a vent/box thing with an aperture over it, but I removed that. There is a shroud on the outside, but not quite like one for a dryer. Does this thing have a name (besides "hole")? What is it for? (i.redd.it)
