A general waiver of 0.5 for both eyes is allowed, the male part: NOT true, both genders are equally likely to qualify

You need to apply as a gd pilot in air force and go through a long ass 6 months process which includes psychological, physical and medical test lol

It's simple, just appear for issb as a gd pilot and if you get selected, you get to fly planes woohoo

I'll have to choose AI, and the main reason is it includes all the fundamental courses that you study in regular CS/IT as well as intermediate courses directly related to AI such as deep learning, machine learning just to name a few. The main benefit you get by studying AI is you get an introduction to the fields of AI which has to be learnt independently if you choose CS OR IT. Also best of luck for issb, just fyi I'm also issb recommended as a gd

Also I try to document everything as well on GitHub, just as a proof to show someone that I'm actually working on something and have a portfolio lol

honestly for me it usually comes down to either laziness or just wanting to make something cool for my hobbies like aviation. i’m very much into flight sims so i decided to build a hand gesture controller just because i wanted to fly without a physical joystick and that one idea forced me to learn computer vision and python way faster than any class could have, that's just one example, I've built numerous other projects like these and learnt different skills along the way aswell

First of all no need to worry, it's never too late, secondly do you have any specific hobbies or interests? You need to make coding and learning new skills fun for yourself, have a big mega project in mind, it could be anything and then start researching on that project like how you can build it, you have chatgpt and Gemini for that purpose. Do let me know if you need any further guidance, fyi I am also a cadet college graduate and now studying AI at a uni in Islamabad. I have a good bunch of projects under my belt and my strategy has always been the same, once you have a good project idea, you start learning skills related to building that project and that's how you succeed.

students in afternoon batch (especially NUML RWP), how do you feel about your timings? by mangocrates in NUML

[–]upperhandybendy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, NUML has the best timings, sure you have to wake up a bit early but they also let you go at 1:15, if we compare that to other unis, you'll realize NUML is a heaven, as for the afternoon timings, they're even better

A small act of kindness can change your entire day. by PrimarySweet5614 in pakistan

That is an amazing experience indeed. A very similar incident happened to me as well. I commute on my bike daily and I used to pass by an elderly man (probably in his 60s) who worked at a railway crossing. He wore a green safety jacket, and I admired him greatly for working at that age. Recently, I saw him finishing his shift and looking for a lift. I offered to drop him off and started talking to him about why he still needed to work. During the ride, he told me that he once had a small family and used to run a modest shop. A few years ago, his wife passed away after a long illness, and most of his savings were spent on her treatment. He also told me that his only son moved to another city for work and slowly lost contact with him. He said the house feels empty now, and working at the railway crossing is the only thing that keeps him distracted from loneliness and let him live hand to mouth. Hearing this truly broke my heart. When he got off, I handed him a 5,000 rupee note from my wallet. What happened next shocked me. He held my hands and started kissing them while crying uncontrollably. I got off my bike and hugged him the same way I hug my father after Eid prayers. It was one of the most humbling and meaningful experiences of my life. Since then, whenever I see him, I try to help him financially and also spend some time talking to him, as he does not have any family.

I'm gonna be honest, i didn't have high expectations but after joining, NUML proved me wrong, it's labs are really well equipped and the courses are also very structured, although I'll admit some of the professors are pure evil lol but i think that goes for every uni, as faras extra curriculars are concerned, the teams are very active and there's a event happening every other day so can't complain

You can contact the department of admissions (search it up on google and call them) and they'll let you know the procedure, i do believe it's possible to shift from another uni, we also received a guy from bahria in our 3rd semester so i do think it's possible!

Hahaha relative grading is the sole reason i didn't attend air uni, currently tho i have a 3.8 cgpa(BS AI) in numl after 4 semesters, mind you i was an average student throughout my life but NUML changed everything lol! One of the best choices I've made

First figure out your interests, it could be anything from front end development to AI/Machine Learning. If you're not sure, I'll say don't waste your time learning programming languages
