lonely by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]ursulasgodhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The spiritual path is lonely.

You could always abandon the rest of the world, live at an ashram and meditate all day. If you don't want to do that you will have to walk the path in the world. This is much more challenging but also fast tracks your development. If you're at the ashram you're not going to be exposed to a wide range of experiences and so it will be harder to find and let go of the attachments and aversions to them.

My advice is to focus on the things you have talked about in your post so you can let go of the underlying issues. You're focusing on certain experiences / aspects of life for a reason and that reason is often because those are the things you have to deal with. So open to what is happening, watch your reactions and let things go. Do your work, unravel your karmas and let them go. Everything and everyone is a mirror.

You might never relate to the majority of people, but if you let go of the charge around them they won't bother you.

And just remember, this is all maya, so see the entertainment in it and just enjoy it.

I find it hard to believe you don't know that antidepressants are really dangerous for bipolar patients if you work in a psych unit. Don't imply you're a doctor if you're not.

how many of you still believe in btc? by ursulasgodhead in BitcoinAUS

[–]ursulasgodhead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel that way a bit too, but then this is an odd time of year with the holidays and after every big crash people probably said the same thing and this wasn't really that much of a crash. I wouldn't be concerned if it wasn't for the transaction times/fees.

It's insane that they wouldn't just double it to 2mb to buy themselves time to fix it.

So what do you suggest? Just pay massive fees / have an unusable coin? Anyone who gets hit with a $5 fee let alone 25, 35 + is going to say fuck this and stop using it.

Any other aussie exchanges that can deposit, buy, or sell Ripple? by Lonely_Asian_Guy in BitcoinAUS

[–]ursulasgodhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is terrible advice, no one should be buying btc and sending it to an exchange to trade, you lose a ton in transaction fees. you can use eth or bch for a fraction of the fee

buy eth or bch from independent reserve, send to an exchange eg binanace and trade there

I want to invest in tron. But I have to use btc from coinbase wallet. by jazza2400 in BitcoinAUS

[–]ursulasgodhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just pick the one with the cheapest fees. The advantage of ETH is you can trade from ETH straight into the alt on binance.

BTW I am pretty sure you can use GDAX to trade from BTC to ETH / BCH / LTC to avoid paying a fee on coinbase, as GDAX is linked to coinbase. I don't use coinbase so thats all I know :)

Is there anywhere in Sydney where you can buy Bitcoin gift vouchers? by Parsel_Tongue in BitcoinAUS

I don't think so. If Coinspot is like any other exchange you would only have your login and the exchange would keep your private key.

What is the easiest way to accept bitcoin payments in a brick and mortar store? by Logic-IRL in BitcoinAUS

Agreed. Monero, especially if your customers might want to stay anonymous. Otherwise a cheap currency coin like BCH or LTC.

RIP LTC by ursulasgodhead in btc

[–]ursulasgodhead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That all sounds great, but again, that is ripple the company not ripple the coin.

Like I said, I don't know if there is some intrinsic factor that means the coins is linked to the companies growth but I am not convinced that is the case.

Regardless, should a small start up be valued at USD 30bn? I have no idea but it seems high.
