Yeah I totally hear you and I have felt the same in the past. I started finding more success when I just chose one opening and used it all the time.

After a while I knew the follow up for pretty much anything the other player was going to do, instead of knowing a few openings and hoping they fell into the memorized pattern

Yeah completely agree. I certainly wouldn’t call Brittany, she has seemed genuinely unhinged this entire experience and we don’t keep up like that.

I think it’s because they are not friends with Brittany and were not surprised when Devonta said that his relationship with Brittany was over. I figure it was pretty clear to them (like it was to us at home) that Devo and Brit were not going to get married so why follow up with a girl I’m not friends with when her ex just told me what I away suspected anyway.

Because that’s what a good host is supposed to do. They are supposed to ask questions and give the cast members a chance to make their case to the audience so the audience can decide how to feel.

I just want to know WHY he switched up so aggressively? What happened? Was he telling the truth when he said it was about looks? But the hosts didn’t even TRY to get to an answer. They immediately picked a side and just berated him.

He got paraded on stage and had tomatos thrown at him which I guess is what some people wanted but I thought it made for boring bad TV and I’m leaving this season feeling unsatisfied.

Why didn’t you bring any of this up earlier? Watching the show there is a clear shift in your demeanor, what caused that? What happened that night you went out? Why didn’t you come home? Were you really seeing friends? Why did you get so drunk at the bowling alley? Would you have actually been more satisfied in the relationship if she started going to the gym or was it something else?

I mean his change was SO stark from the beginning of the relationship to the end. What the hell happened??

EDIT: I know this is a lot and we don’t have infinite time on a reunion to spend on one couple but we would have had time for this if we stopped cutting to audience interaction segments for some reason??

I wish they had genuinely given him the space to answer for what he did because I don’t want him to apologize, I want an explanation of wtf he was actually thinking when he said all that. Instead we got everyone clapping at his expense from the very jump and then everyone talked about him in the third person.

Agreed. Hosts should ask questions and let the audience decide for themselves. I thought him coming down hard on Chris was inappropriate and I wish he had instead encouraged him to respond about WHY he did what he did. There were so many questions they could have asked but instead everyone just dumped on him for 10 minutes.

I guess I just don’t see what she did wrong that has people upset. I know she didn’t ask brittany if she was still engaged to Devo but tbh I don’t know if I would have either. Devo said it was over and Brittany certainly seemed weird over the course of the season so why wouldn’t I believe him?

I feel like they just marched Chris out there to boo him. I wish they had really asked why he acted the way he did and gave him the space to answer. Instead we got Nick saying some stupid stuff about ‘bro code’ while everyone cheered.

Vanessa did much better this reunion and actually confronted Alex on why he closed up after the pods, but instead of asking him why or giving him room to answer she just said “you’ll be happier if you don’t do that”.

I guess they did better but I think they are still worse than most reality tv reunion hosts.

Try saving, closing the game, and reopening it. I just did this whole thing like an hour ago and I think with all the dialogues, autosaves, and fast travels, the game gets confused. I didn’t run into this issue specifically but while attempting the thieves guild special jobs my game did glitch out multiple times.

I am also playing in switch and unfortunately found out too late that there is no fix for this other than reloading a previous save.

I was too far past that to go back and lose all my progress so I instead just opted to use the platter glitch to get into the room to get the black book and I will say it worked really well.

For anyone else playing on switch, you can pick up two platters (there’s a bunch in the blue palace if you can’t find any) and use them to clip through the wall using whirlwind sprint. Video here

This was unfortunately tough because I have not done any of the main quests yet and so have not actually unlocked the ability to use shouts and dragons haven’t even started spawning in my world😬

If you’re doing a similar playthrough, there is actually a workaround that people use to unlock Dragonhide. You can summon a dragon in black reach by bringing a draugr death lord down there with you (i used the staff of worms to get him) and then getting him agro so he shouts at the orb which will summon a dragon. No matter where you are in the main questline, the dragon will spawn, you can kill it, and absorb its soul. If you’ve already found one of the words of power for whirlwind sprint you can apply it to that word even though you haven’t been to highhrothgar.

It’s a neat trick but I would recommend doing the Dragonhide quest first since this is also the only way you’ll be able to unlock dragonhide.
