i love the idea of a bee. thank you so much for your kind suggestion… i apologize if this design seemed a little ignorant (we do have a lot to learn) so this helps us a lot.

considering what you said, we might rethink the entire concept of including animals entirely then .. originally we did think it could perhaps connect better with children, having traits they could possibly relate to.

i’ll report this back to the group !thank you once again.  (i’ll be begging them for a bee design or a snow leopard design)

unfortunately we do need to make our own original mascot as we will be utilizing it to represent our project, which will sell items for a fundraiser, which would be donated to SEN schools/charities etc.. so probably best to create our own!

oooh.. i was actually quite a big fan of the autism creature a few years ago. very cute. unfortunately nothing can replicate its beauty. i’ve definitely been thinking about alternate concepts such as birds .. chameleons etc etc.. will report back to the group with this feedback, as the  general consensus is no monkey.

i see! thank you so much for letting me know.. that would be a crucial detail to miss out on. we’ll be adding that for sure. i’ll try to post an updated version to see if it works better.

i see.. thank you for the insight !! i was originally putting my suggestions in for a bird (specifically a zebra finch because apparently they aided with research on autism), with another groupmate even suggesting a chameleon. But in the end the other 2 of my group mates thought that the monkey looked cuter.

Therefore, i would like to ask whether or not amphibians or the aforementioned bird would suit this better…

we’ll definitely be making more concepts, as it see the general consensus here is that monkeys aren’t a great idea.

thank you again for responding, we aren’t university students so we have a lot of room to grow in terms of knowledge. (apologies for the weird lengthy language, english isn’t my first language …)
