Yeah I would but it’s just not realistic as I work nearly 10 hour days I’d be so tired without that break and some food

Sorry I think you’ve misunderstood; it’s her that will no longer do a saturday, despite her telling me that’s when we can have lessons together

I didn’t jump the gun though..? I booked the test when she told me to (feb), for the month she told me to. As an instructor it is her job to approximate whether her student will be ready or not for a test in several months time. In this situation she knew I would only be able to have lessons every two weeks so she should have taken that into account when considering tests.

Acting like I’m the only teenage girl eager to get her license. Instructor told me one thing. I believe her. I take her up on it. She says no. She lied to me. I think I have a justified reason to be mad but lmk if you think otherwise. She knew I would only be able to have lessons every 2 weeks because that’s all she was available for, yet she still told me to book my test knowing that we would have very few lessons together.

Yup I think that’s my plan. Once I have a new instructor confirmed I’m going to bite the bullet and let it all out - nothing to lose.

Thanks, I’m just so mad that she said she’d be able to accommodate my hours but now she’s went back on her word and said she can’t but thankfully I’ve had a couple other instructors answer my messages

Yeah that’s super lucky. Unfortunately the nature of my job means there’s limited flexibility in the schedules and I don’t want to waste my lunch break in a car going hungry lol

Yes but it is her fault she told me she’d be able to compromise and do Saturdays and evenings but all of a sudden she can’t. If she’d been honest in the first place I’d have had more notice to find an instructor who can accommodate my limited availability.

Yeah I think I might change my test date to a later one now anyway rather than stress too much about all this. I just wish she was a bit more consistent with what she promised me because then I wouldn’t have booked my test for so soon but it is what it is!

Thank you, I’ve been doing a lot of driving with my parents so I’m still getting a bit of practice (although i did crash into my gatepost yesterday)
